There is a state park mid-way of the beach where the locals swim. Make Horse is another amazing beach to hike to and again the swim and snorkel ability depends on the ocean conditions at that time of the year. Please note that it is not safe to swim at the beach directly in from of the condo in the winter. At times, the surfing beach near the pool is suitable for swimming. Due to its quiet nature, the island does not feature an exciting nightlife, fancy shops or restaurants. Living room is equipped with couch, two chairs and flat screen TV. This condo is located at the end of the property and has decks on two sides for relaxing in the sun or shade. Being the end upper unit it always has a refreshing breeze and with high ceiling with makes it very open and airy inside. Fully equipped kitchen and nicely upgraded inside. The access to the beach is right next to the condo and just a short walk to all the wonderful west end beaches. Close to the tennis courts, the gated access to pool, the jacuzzi, and the gas BBQ. It has cable TV and WIFI. This condo is strickly for 2 people max. If there is more then 2 people we will charge $75 a day per person. If you need a car rental you can call Mike at 808 864-1494 for possible renting owner's car. Ke Nani Kai s located on Molokai's West End and is about a 5 minutes walk to the ocean. Just across the front lawns is Kepuhi Beach. It is great for surfing in the winter months and perfect for swimming/snorkeling in the summer months. Just a short walk over the old golf course is Papohaku Beach, the longest white sand beach in the state of Hawaii. It is very rough in the winter months and not recommended for winter swimming. But it It awesome to watch the waves break in and hunt for shells. In the summer months, it is great for long ocean swims. A short walk to the north brings you to Make Horse Cove with lots of little tide pools for taking a cold tub or catching small fish. If you like to hike, a nice trek can be done from Paniolo Hale to the North Point. It is about 5 minutes drive to Maunaloa town the only town on the West End where there is a small market open daily to 5PM. 15 minutes is to the airport. 20 minutes takes you to the Cook House restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating, the Coffee Plantation, Coffees of Hawaii, which has a coffee bar/cafe and WiFi and a gift shop. Hawaiian clothing can be purchased there or at the other stores in the area. Kaunakakai Town is about 30 minutes drive. That is where most of the groceries stores, art shops, gift stores, mini markets, restaurants, equipment rentals and the county offices are located. Further along the main road is the East End of Molokai with great little beaches, ancient fish ponds, a small market with takeout foods and a beautiful long water fall at the end of the road. The water fall is a good hour drive. There are many things to see and do on Molokai including mule rides to Kalaupapa, canoe paddling with the local club and snorkeling our unsoiled and uncrowded reefs. If you like to paddle, rent a kayak or stand up board and paddle over our barrier reef. Molokai is about entertaining yourself, although Hotel Molokai has a local talent hula show on a Friday Nights. Ke nani Kai does have cable TV and Internet. Ke Nani Kai s located on Molokai's West end and back from the ocean. There is Kepuhi Beach a short walk down the road in front and it is great for surfing in the winter months and perfect for swimming/snorkeling in the summer months. Just a short walk over the old golf course is the Papohaku Beach to the longest white sand beach in the state of Hawaii. Very rough in the winter months and cannot swim, but awesome to watch the waves break in and in the summer months great for long ocean swims and shell finding. A short walk to the left brings you to Make Horse with lots of little tide pools for taking a cold tub or letting the little ones catch the little fish. Nice beach hike can be done from Paniolo Hale to the point. West side is about 5 minutes to Maunaloa town where there is a small market open daily to 5PM. 15 minutes is to the airport. 20 minutes take a Cook House with indoor and outdoor seating, the coffee Plantation, Coffees of Hawaii which has a coffee bar and Wi-Fi and a gift shop, along with some other shops. Kaunakakai Town is about 30 minutes and that is where most of the groceries, art shops, gift stores, mini markets, restaurants, equipment rentals and our county offices. The east end of Molokai with other great little beaches, a playground for the little ones and a small market with takeout foods is a good hour drive. There are many things to see and do on Molokai but most are all outdoors. If you like to paddle rent a kayak or Stand up board and paddle over our barrier reef. Molokai Shores 304 is a lovely condo is located on the third floor. It has wonderful ocean views because A304 is so close to the water. This unit is in the A Building and the A building really captures the trade winds as they cross the channel from Maui. It over looks, the ground and has views of the Ancient Fishpond, Lanai and Maui in the back drop. Morning you will see sunrises and at nights you can sit on the benches in fornt and see the beautfiul sunset colors in the sky. Molokai has the best and most colorful sunsets especially in the winter months when the sun sets on the water. Molokai Shores has a pool, BBQ with picnic tables, putting green, coin laundry, florist and hairdresser on property. It's a little over a mile from Kaunakakai Town and a very short walk east to Hotel Molokai that has a restaurant on the water. This condo has been remodeled inside. Nice cabinets in the kitchen and bathroom. There are laminate flooring throughout, new painting, all new stainless steel appliances, tiled bathrooms and wicker furniture with a nice tropical decor inside.. In the master bedroom down stairs is a king bed. Upstairs in the loft are two queen beds. In the living room hs love seat and 2 wicker chairs. Sleeps comfortably four people. This unit comes equipped with all your kitchen amenities, 40" Flat screen smart TV with cable, internet with wifi router , ceiling fans in 3 rooms and nice furnishings. It is a lovely condo to enjoy your vacation on Molokai. Molokai is a very rural island which most locals like it that way. Hawaii is tropical and Moloka'i is not an exception. We also have bugs here. Be mindful before booking that you will see bugs on this island and though we try to keep them out, sometimes they will get in. Please do not come here thinking you will not be seeing bugs. One Bedroom One Bath Ocean View Condo with lanai is on the ground floor which is nice to just walk out on to the grass. Comfortably sleeps up to 2 guests with a king size bed. Living room has oversize couches and chairs for relaxing. This unit was recently remodeled and tastefully done. The pictures tell it all. A Great place to take vacation. Located on Molokai's West end and Walking distance to a few white sand beaches.Summer months has the best beaches on the west side. Access to pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts and BBQ's. A short walk to the north brings you to Make Horse with lots of little tide pools for taking a cold tub or letting the little ones catch little fish. If you like to hike, a nice trek can be done to the North Point. It is about a 5 minute drive to Maunaloa town, the only town on the West End. It is about a 15 minute drive to the airport. 20 minutes takes you to the Cook House restaurant (with indoor and outdoor seating), the Coffee Plantation, and Coffees of Hawaii (which has a coffee bar/cafe and a gift shop). Kaunakakai Town is about a 30 minute drive. That is where most of the grocery stores, art/gift shops, mini markets, restaurants, equipment rentals and the county offices are located. Further along the main road is the East End of Molokai with great little beaches, ancient fish ponds, and a small market with takeout food. Further east is Halawa Valley, a good 75 minute drive from the West End. There are many things to see and do on Molokai including taking a mule ride to Kalaupapa and hiking to Moaula Falls.
